Best Fit & Recommended For
Farpointe Conekt CSK-2 Keyfob (DESFire, Per Piece)
Conekt is Farpointe’s modern line — the readers do Bluetooth phone credentials, and this is the physical fob that rides alongside them for everyone who’d rather carry plastic than install an app. Under the shell it’s MIFARE DESFire EV2/EV3, encrypted — the same chip family as credentials costing twice as much, and a genuine security tier above the old 125 kHz prox fobs that clone at a mall kiosk for pocket change.
That’s the interesting part of the price tag: $6.50 per piece puts an encrypted, current-generation credential at basic-fob money. The catch is ecosystem fit — the CSK-2 is built for Conekt readers (the CSR series), so this page is for buildings already running them or specing them new. If you’re on Brivo hardware instead, the equivalent encrypted fob is the BUC3 line; on HID, look at Seos.
Like the rest of the Farpointe catalog it sells by the piece: ten fobs for a small office is $65, a fifty-fob apartment building is $325, and the order matches the building instead of the packaging. As always, we confirm reader compatibility before anything ships — send us your setup and we’ll sort fobs, phones, or both in one pass.
