Brivo ACS6100 Input/Output Expansion Board

Not everything an access system controls is a door. Elevator floors, parking gates, overhead doors, a siren that should fire when the loading dock opens after hours, a water sensor in the panel room somebody wants logged — that’s what this board is for. The B-ACS6100-IO drops into a free slot on an ACS6100 or ACS6000 chassis and hands the panel a bank of auxiliary inputs and relay outputs that Brivo Access can read, trigger, schedule, and log like anything else on the system.

The elevator case is the one we quote most in Chicago. In a residential high-rise, credential-based floor control — your fob calls out your floor and the amenity levels, nothing else — is an I/O job: the board’s relays enable and disable the car’s floor buttons, and the same cloud dashboard that runs the lobby door decides who reaches the penthouse. Gates are the same story: a Control ID or a vehicle reader out front, this board switching the operator, and the property manager sees car traffic in the same event log as foot traffic.

It shares the family logic of the two-door board — rides a chassis slot, no separate power or network, and everything it does shows up in Brivo Access natively. If you’re out of slots, an expansion chassis fixes that. Reach out and tell us what needs switching — we’ll map inputs and relays to the actual hardware before quoting.
