Brivo ACS6100 Two-Door Expansion Board

This is the board that does the actual growing on an ACS6100 system. One B-ACS6100-DB drops into a free slot and brings everything two more doors need: a reader port per door (OSDP v2 secure channel or legacy Wiegand), a lock-control relay, and the door contact and REX inputs that let the panel tell a propped door from a legal exit. No separate power runs, no extra network drops — it rides the chassis it plugs into.

The economics are the point. The first doors on any access job carry the panel, the enclosure, and the labor of standing the system up; doors added later on a board like this are the cheapest doors you’ll ever buy. That’s why we size the chassis with empty slots on purpose — when the property leases another floor or finally decides the server room needs a reader, it’s a board and an afternoon, not a project. And when the main chassis fills up, the expansion chassis gives these boards a new home on the same platform.

Doors added on a DB behave exactly like the originals in Brivo Access — same schedules, same mobile credentials, same audit trail, nothing for the facilities team to relearn. If your expansion is more about elevator floors, alarm points, or gate hardware than doors, the I/O expansion board is the other board in this family. Get in touch and we’ll count the slots you have left before you buy anything.
