The Paxton P50 (353-110) is the standard 125 kHz proximity reader in Paxton’s Net2 / Switch2 product line — 2” wide mullion / wall-mount form factor for typical commercial doors. Reads Paxton tokens and EM 4100/02 125 kHz credentials, IP67 weatherproof, 3” token read range, 4 ft hands-free range. Wiegand output to Paxton Net2 / Switch2 controller.

The P50 is the most-installed Paxton Net2 reader — fits the majority of commercial door positions cleanly, supports the standard Paxton token credentials, and works on both Net2 (networked) and Switch2 (single-door) controllers.

MIFARE Variants

The standard P50 reads Paxton tokens + EM 125 kHz. For projects requiring 13.56 MHz MIFARE smart cards, Paxton offers MIFARE-capable variants of the same form factor on request — specified at site walkthrough per credential policy. We don’t list MIFARE variants as separate product pages.
