The Brivo ACS-SDC (Smart Door Controller) is a compact single-door controller designed for fast deployment at individual door positions. Powered over Ethernet (PoE), it requires only a single cable run for both power and network connectivity — dramatically simplifying installation compared to traditional access control wiring.

Single-Cable Installation

PoE power eliminates the need for a dedicated low-voltage power supply at the door. Combined with Wi-Fi backup connectivity, the ACS-SDC can be installed at door locations where pulling multiple cable types would be impractical or cost-prohibitive.

Compact Form Factor

The ACS-SDC mounts in a small footprint above the door frame or in the door hardware cavity, keeping the installation clean and concealed. It pairs with any OSDP or Wiegand reader mounted at the door.

Ideal for Retrofits

For buildings adding access control to existing doors, the ACS-SDC avoids the cost and disruption of running power cables to each door location. A single PoE-capable Ethernet cable from the nearest network switch handles everything.
