The Brivo ACS-6000 is an expandable cloud-managed access control panel designed for mid-to-large commercial deployments. It starts at 2 doors on the base unit and expands to 8 doors per panel with I/O expansion modules — reducing the number of panels needed for buildings with many controlled doors.

Scalable Door Count

The base ACS-6000 controls 2 doors. Each expansion module adds 2 more doors, up to a total of 8 per panel. For buildings exceeding 8 doors, additional ACS-6000 panels can be deployed — all appearing under one Brivo cloud account with unified management.

Enterprise-Grade Reliability

Like all Brivo panels, the ACS-6000 includes cellular backup, local credential caching, and encrypted communication. It meets the reliability requirements of corporate campuses, healthcare facilities, and multi-tenant buildings where door access is business-critical.

Expansion Module Architecture

The modular expansion approach allows installers to deploy the base unit initially and add doors incrementally as the building’s access control footprint grows — avoiding the cost of oversized controllers at initial deployment.
