Axis Modular Cameras
Axis modular cameras separate the image sensor from the main processing unit, connected by a cable. This allows the tiny sensor head to be mounted in locations where a conventional camera would not fit or would be too conspicuous — ATM alcoves, elevator cabs, retail counters, and reception desks.
Discreet Surveillance
The sensor head can be as small as a pinhole or mini-dome, blending into the environment while the main unit is hidden behind a wall or ceiling panel. This separation provides flexibility for specialized installations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are modular cameras typically used? +
Modular cameras excel in space-constrained or aesthetically sensitive locations — ATMs, elevator cabs, retail counters, and reception desks — where a traditional camera housing would be too visible or too large.
