2N Access Unit 2.0

Overview

The 2N Access Unit 2.0 is a multi-technology IP card reader designed to work within the 2N ecosystem — particularly alongside 2N intercom systems. It reads RFID cards, NFC-enabled phones, and Bluetooth mobile credentials, making it flexible enough to support both legacy card-based systems and modern mobile-first deployments.

Because it’s an IP device, the Access Unit 2.0 connects directly to the network and is managed through 2N Access Commander or compatible third-party platforms. No traditional Wiegand wiring to a separate controller panel — the intelligence is at the door.

Where It Fits

The Access Unit 2.0 is most valuable when deployed alongside 2N IP Verso intercoms in buildings that want a unified entry management platform. For example, a condo building might use a 2N IP Verso at the main lobby for visitor communication and Access Unit 2.0 readers at side doors, parking entries, and amenity spaces — all managed from one system.

Integration Advantage
