The Honeywell Security Spinoff

Resideo Technologies (NYSE: REZI) was spun off from Honeywell International in 2018, inheriting Honeywell’s residential and small-commercial security panel business, along with the Honeywell Home thermostat and comfort product lines. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, Resideo is now an independent public company that continues manufacturing security panels under the Honeywell Home brand name.

The Honeywell VISTA panel series — VISTA-20P, VISTA-128, and related models — remains under Resideo’s product portfolio. These panels are installed in millions of homes and small businesses across the United States and represent the single most widely deployed intrusion alarm platform in the country.
